Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler has criticised Darwin Nunez for being too slow in the decisive moments, unlike Mohamed Salah who he could rely on.

“Nunez” returned to the starting line-up in the 3-3 draw with Newcastle United last night, but he missed several golden opportunities and seemed to lose confidence.

It was “Bang Mo” who continued to explode in form, assisting once and scoring twice, helping the team almost win even though they ended up sharing points in the end.

Fowler believes the Uruguayan striker often waits for opportunities, สมัคร ufabet while Salah is the one who creates them.

Arne Slot handed Nunez a start up top for Liverpool away at Newcastle United on Wednesday night, with Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo also getting the nod to play.

Liverpool ended up letting slip a 3-2 lead right at the death to draw 3-3 in the Premier League game, with the Reds’ goals coming from Curtis Jones and Salah (two).

“I think there were times when Darwin Nunez was too late to get to where he expected,” the former sharp-footed striker said. “

With Mo, you expect him to be where the ball will come.”

“Darwin Nunez, number 9, sometimes he waits for something to happen, as opposed to Mo Salah who makes things happen himself.”
